Robert Duvall

Obtuvo el rango de soldado de primera clase del Ejército de los Estados Unidos y se le concedió la Medalla del Servicio de Defensa Nacional. Mientras estudiaba interpretación con Sanford Meisner en Nueva York en los 50, compartió piso con Dustin Hoffman. Los guiones tanto de su debut en la gran pantalla (la película de 1962 Matar a un ruiseñor) como de la única película por la que ganó un Óscar (la película de 1983 Gracias y favores) fueron escritos por Horton Foote. Recibió una estrella en el Paseo de la Fama de Hollywood en septiembre de 2003. Su madre es descendiente directa del General Robert E.
